I love avocado! It's such a delicious, creamy, beautiful green nutrient-dense piece of fruit. Avocado's contain lots of good fatties, vitamins and minerals, and are therefore so healthy. You can use avocado's in a salad, in a smoothie or in a sandwich. Did you know that when you want to enhance the riping proces of the avocado, you should put it in a bag with some apples or oranges.
Here's one of my favorite and very simple avocado recipe.
Ingredients:
- - 1/2 avocado, thin slices
- - Wheat bread (or spelta crackers)
- - Pinch of salt and pepper
- - Optional: butter and other colorful veggies
Put the thin slices of avocado on your bread (or crackers) and add a pinch of salt and pepper to it.
